Modify 67 Firebird shifter for turbo 400
I’ve tried to locate the conversion kit to modify the shifter in my 67 Firebird. It’s has the 2 speed shifter with a turbo 400 transmission. It works but it would be nice to have the detent work for first gear. Everyplace has the kit on back order or discontinued. Can I modified the 2 speed detent or do I need a kit.

Take the two speed detent and grind new openings into it.. Very easy..
