I plan on being there! There's a good chance that Jim Robertson will be there also. Always a good time.

Yea - there is a group of us that show up. I am usually the only one in AFX but sometimes a buddy of mine (Tim) that lives up Tulsa way will enter AFX too... This year you are Defending Champion for the AFX class so "no pressure" LOL.

My goal is just to get through a couple of rounds and still be able to drive my car on the trailer at the end of the day

I may not be there this year since the race was moved up a few weeks. I have tickets to George Strait in Little Rock for Friday night. Usually I wouldn't miss a race to go to a concert, but since this is "The cowboy rides away" tour I think my chances to see King George will be far and few between. I know my Dad Plans on being there with his slow junk.

I talked with Larry Crider of the Indian Nations POCI on Saturday and he told me the race was going to be called the "Tulsa Pontiac Nationals and BOP Challenge" so it will be another BOP race like last year. I am all for it because the Buick, and Olds guys need a race too and If we can share ours that is great!

LOL just wait! I'm still trying to figure out how to talk the wife into going!I think you understand how much I like that race! Just seeing all the folks down there is sooooo worth the trip. I'm tellin ya for some reason I still ABSOLUTLEY love seeing Milts Bonny and Dills strait axle goat deffinately 2 of my favoriates! And believe it or not I actually enjoy seeing you too, down there.
My angle with the wife is that Dad is going to be making license passes and he wants me to sign off on some passes for him.

Definitely going to have the 64 Gasser there. Gotta get some line shots with Brad Thompsons AWB 66. No competition race wise ( He'll smoke me ) but should make for some cool pictures.
And Johnny, no oiling the track on the first pass, k

Easy $!!!!???? Hardly! It will be good to get down there and attempt to make some changes and see what they do in a laid back race,on top of seeing you guys again.

Going to be a serious risk of weather with an early April run; hoping for the best.

Well, git r done Looking forward to seeing you out there.

I found a dowel pin while doing an oil change last monday so I pulled my engine, replaced the dowel, checked the main bearing and retorqued the main and put it all back together last weekend. Seems I had a main nut come loose and it walked the dowel pin out...
