It is looking like we are going to have quite the collection of Pontiacs again this year. It is going to be a great event!

That is so cool, my T/A would look killer parked next to that jet. I'm getting real stoked about the new venue. I'd like to get the T/A as well as the 68 out this year. The T/A needs a fuel pump though, ugh. I can deal with that but I have another deadline right about the same time. My wife's due date is about two weeks after PSN. So, it will probably be a game time decision what I can really do this year.

I haven't been to Southern Nationals before. Will there be swap meet vendors with Pontiac parts for sale? Sounds like a great event.

Good, I am always looking for parts for my 70 LeMans. Can some one post the street address of the event so I can set my GPS to? I will be coming from Houston.

This is an update to the PSN: I jumped the gun a little and at this time it doesnt look like we will have any swap meet vendors this year. Sorry for the misinformation.

Here is an update to the plans for the 2013 Pontiac Southern Nationals, you don’t want to miss what we have in store at this great event.

As you know by now, this year the PSN is in September on Saturday, Sept 7 and Sunday, Sept 8. The Saturday Car Show will be unique; it’s always been an all Pontiac show, but this year the Pontiacs will be sharing the spotlight with vintage Planes! The car show will be at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison! The PSN Pontiacs will be parked in and around a Cavanaugh Hangar, the Planes will be on display on the grounds. The Sunday drag race will still be at the best quarter mile strip in the area – The Texas Motorplex in Ennis.

And the Update includes the Cavanaugh Fall Fly Days! This is an event done by the Cavanaugh Flight Museum in conjunction with the Pontiac Southern Nationals. Here is just part of the schedule for Fall Fly Days: 4 P-51 Mustangs in formation flybys, Aircraft Carrier demonstration, Sherman Tank demo, Warbird Rides, Troop Transport rides – and that’s not all, the list goes on!

The PSN Flyer is attached. Please print and mark your calendars, and feel free to forward to your Pontiac Buddies. Additional PSN details are available on our website www.dapa.org

Oh, and I almost forgot, the Bombshell Girls will be there posing for photos with Planes and Pontiacs.

We should plan a cruise or at least meet somewhere central and have a big group of us cruise together on our way up to Cavanaugh Saturday.
