Default Are these 64-65 A-body seats?

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if these are the correct seats for my 64 GTO?

Thanks for the help.

Almost look like fullsize seats judging by the trim and the carpet coming up the back.

The upholstery and side trim is different, but it's possible that the frame is the right size. Hard to know.

Upholstery and adjusting knob narrows it to exactly a 1964 Olds

Hi Poncho60

The photos were from a local Craigslist ad - which didn't include any pictures of the sliders. In person, they look like 64-65 A-body sliders with a slot in the front for the stud and holes in the back for the bolts.

I purchased the seats today - they seem to be in pretty good shape, other than they have been welded to what appear to be seat risers from something.

Thanks everyone for the help.

They are correct for 64-65 A body.
They were also used in the 63 Impala
and a few others as well.

If you use the GTO upholstery from legendary, or PUI or whatever and change the hockey sticks (chrome trim) to the GTO trim they will work perfectly for your Poncho

The hockey sticks are available from our host as is the upholstery . I dont remember if they sell Seat foams

Good luck.
PS they also have seat springs, or you could use these guys for all your repair and supllies.
https://www.wsusol.com/

They have everything you may need to repair the seats and ready them for the upholstery.
Its not as hard as you think.

Thanks for the confirmation LATECH - The plan is a full Legendary Interior with new foam, burlap, etc. I was happy to find a solid set of cores to start from - especially locally since this bulky stuff is so expensive to ship. Now I just have to figure what the seats that came with the car are out of - so I can sell them to someone that will find them useful.

Thanks again everyone for your help.
