2004 exhaust mods

Has anyone moved their right tail pipe over and out of the right side of rear facia? I checked with a local muscle car restorer and he recommends using a 2005 rear facia to make use of the factory cut outs, and using flowmaster's 2.5 inch tail pipe mod. He wants $1500. Seems like a lot.

Try asking your question over at LS1GTO.com. Lots of '04 owners over there, and I'm sure there are at least a few who have done this or something similar.

Sounds like a DIY project to me, how hard is it to swap a rear fascia? I would think the tailpipe would be easy enough...

Did that cost include the fascia and the tailpipe?

I cut my bumper, its not that hard. Measure twice CUT once. I also added 2002 trans am aluminum oval tips and new tail pipes

well you could remove the rear bumper yourself,replace it with the 05 and u might be able to replace the exhaust with a 05 kit from like flowmaster or slp from the cats
