Default 1970 Firebird 4bbl throttle cable

This is one of those things that I never really pursued replacing;
I have my Formula's original throttle cable bracket, but it was previously modified, I have repaired it as best as I could but it's far from perfect.

Casually looking for a replacement.

I do believe these are reproduced, but I would be more interested in finding an original part.

I made a thread elsewhere about this, but the one I found which was sold to me by a member here was in fact a 2bbl bracket;
I take part of the responsibility for not doing my homework, and trusting the member.

My search is back on;
I'd like to find a nice original unmodified bracket for my car;
I believe that this is a 1970/1971 Firebird 4bbl bracket.

Please use the email link in my profile to contact me if you have one you would sell.

Thanks!!

I don't believe there's a part number on it.

There are two that look similar;
1) 70-71 4bbl; throttle cable attaches on the right side (as pictured above).
2) 70-71 2bbl; throttle cable attaches on the left side - ever so slightly shorter.

Bmp!

I just noticed that the title of this thread is slightly misleading;
I should have typed "1970 Firebird 4bbl throttle cable bracket"

Whoops...

Johnny: Would this be the bracket your looking for? Is this not the early throttle cable brackets? Seems to me I've seen the one you have pictured on GTO's.

nope.

this is my bracket, it's the correct one, but it's been cut and modified.

I did "fix" it as well as I could some time ago.

I know you're looking for oem, but is there anything wrong with the repro bracket? And, anyone searching for 480589 on eBay will come up with an incorrect bracket.
