Is that a 311 Roadster in the background of the first pic?

I'm envious of the progress!

Your supposed to just look at my carIt's a MG mini I think,it's Davids' wifes car. It's really tight fit inside and David says it feels safe up to 50 mph.He painted it back a couple years ago.

We didn't get to set up the body on the frame todayWe picked up my motor to set it on the frame and his cherry picker started leaking fluid and then blew a seal, luckly the motor was on the floor. I installed the rear shocks.

Default Hey Phil

I got some gun time today spraying some primer on the bare metal areas of the shell AND a masking for the frame and components so nothing sticks to it during the resto.

So,I can help you painting yours..........

I found one.My guy took off the old body filler to find where it was spliced andfitted over the old panel. When we drop the shell on the frame (soon man soon)and bolt it down he will cut the old 1/4 out and weld in the replacement. He is a fraid the shell will twist if he does it now.

Hey Blue '66, looking good.

Mind if I ask why you dropped the body on before putting the drivetrain on the frame?

Not my opinion; just have no idea.

I think it's cause he's jealous of another guy here that is restoring a 67 GTO convertible( I won't mention his name) and wants to catch up to me, I mean him!

I gotta build the BB 455 so I can beat Phil! I may build another motor it depends on how I am doing on the restoration cost.Plus I needed to drop it on so we could cut out the bad passenger 1/4 without twisting the body.

I am jealous,Phil will have a really sharp 67 'vert!
