Saw those on the TAC site a few months ago, very neat collection. The guy is very serious about 79 Z28s. Supposedly has one of every color offered that year. Recently saw somewhere that he is having an open house this summer....Tampa area I think.

Over to the side of the page it says "Welcome to Billy Squier's F-Body Dream". So....is this the ex-rocker's collection?

This picture was on the nasty Z28 website mentioned in the link. I'm looking at the firebird on the lift and wondering about the stripe on the side. I was thinking of putting one of those on my 70 Formula castillian bronze car (if I ever get it back from the paint shop). In looking at the picture, it appears to be either a 70 or 72, but I can't really tell from the picture. I'm sure the stripe was not available in 70, but what about 72? Or, did someone put a later stripe on the car?

I sure like the looks of it.

be sure to check out the nastyz28 thread with tons of pics......

mind bogling.. not much on late 70's Z cars, but the cop car Z is extremely cool, blacked out big exhaust tips and all....

the rare SS396 Camaro's are pretty cool....

I can't help but marvel at 74 Camaro truck bumpers though, at least Pontiac got 74 a bit better....

I think the "baddest" of the bunch is the Brewster Green 73 with it's "bowtie" moons.

I always thought that ALL camero's came with Kragars???

Tried to digest that Pastel Green 79 Z28,but it just keeps coming up "gay" evertime.

70-73 Camero's are pretty cool,as are the 80-81 Z's. (the years in between just leave me COLD)

Almost got a loaded NEW 1980 Z28,but Pontiac ended up with my $$$ for a "full house" new Turbo T/A.

Impressive collection of cars.

Somebody has some serious cash.

That side stripe was a new for '73 option--available on everything but the Trans Am.

Default collection

the 71 formula has 52,000 miles and is wearing original paint, the green camaro is a 70 ss 396 4 speed car with 33,000 miles, there is a 77 w72 t/a with 705 original miles on it, a 76 400 4 speed t/a with 18,000 miles on it. lowest milage car is a 80 turbo pace car with 95 miles on it. i do a lot of resto work for the owner and also have purchased a lot of cars for the collection, at the shop now i have a 70 z28 and a 73 455 4 speed no a/c t/a. around 85 cars in the building. i have 14 cars waiting for restoration. we took the 705 mile 77 to the nats last year.

It looks kinda like a '71 Formula 350 that was for sale in Michigan a few years ago. I think the vents are on the fenders... they just don't show in this picture.

Looks like a nice gig boardog! What's the story with the owner? Is it the ex-rocker? If not, what does/did he do to find the means for such a collection?

no ex-rocker, not famous, business owner, just loves the cars. simple down to earth, he has been to the junk yard with me on 95 degree days pulling parts.
