Default Hurst Wheel Value

What is a set of 4 Hurst wheels worth? They are 5 on 5 pattern they are straight and so are the trim rings The rings need to be rechromed . The wheel lug holes and mounting flanges look like they were never on a car, no marks or gouges only 2 center caps

Those... they're reproductions. Not worth anything. Just send em on down and I'll dispose of em for ya. No charge.

Not sure if I will sell them yet. I want to see what the market will bring, or do I machine the lug holes and make them fit my 64? These wheels are in really nice cond.

I would certainly not machine those wheels to fit an A body wheel. I have seen people use 5" bolt pattern disc brakes for the front, and used adapters on the rear.
I'm interested to see what these may be worth. I have a set of 5X5 Hurst wheels that are completely restored with replated trim rings and new center caps, that I was going to put on my '66 Bonneville convertible, but never did it.

Redrill your front hubs and rear axles--dont mess with the wheels.

I talked with a guy last year who had a set he wanted $5000.00 restored. He said trim rings were about $300 to re chrome. HE would pay up to $200.00 for restorable trim rings.

I think I will just sell these and use my spinner caps on my 64 gto. Any offers before they go on E-bay will be considered. Thanks

I have a set of originals.

They have a number on the small lip where the cap goes over the center portion of the wheel.

Also on the back of each spoke and at least 3 spokes per wheel is a Hurst Logo/stamp that is unique to the Hurst Wheels.

If the wheels you have are correct they are valuable. I had a NOS set of 5x5, Gold wheels, caps and rings offered to me by Miles Legacy in Colorado for 5K, 3 years ago.

I would say that the gold anodized wheels would carry a significant premium over the standard Hurst wheel. Maybe 2 times the value. maybe more
