I already booked my room and registered. Can't wait. Didn't get my fill in Dayton, I'm ready to do it again. Should be a blast.

Booked my room, but still need to register. Will more than likely do that when it gets near the time. I really can't wait for this event, in my old stomping grounds. Nothing like going back home. I really can't wait to drive the Goat through the Fort Pitt Tunnel, so that downtown Pittsburgh smacks me in the face. Just love that view going back to Pittsburgh. Use to work at the Monroeville Mall, can't wait to see old friends!

Haha, not a chance. I got a point taken off for dirt on my brand new reproduction oil filter. Need to clean the car and vacuum seal it after Norwalk until next year.

I got my hotel reservation and registration in the week after Dayton. Can't wait for this one! 50th anniversary of the GTO. Should be a blast!

The bad part is we have to wait 11 months for it.

The 40th anniversary of the GTO in 2004 in Detroit was (I think) the biggest turnout in the convention history. That was a lot of fun. The 50th should be a good show.

Default Trips/Tours

Our next big deliverable for the GTOAA Convention is the confirmation and communication of all of the trips/tours for the convention. Once confirmed, we will post the trips/tours on our convention web site (www.greaterpghgto.com), on the 2014 GTOAA Convention Facebook group, and on our club Facebook page. We will also have the registration software updated. We will have this all done very soon so you can make your plans! See you in Pittsburgh!

A contingent of SVGTO members will be cruising down the Turnpike from the Harrisburg area in classics at a "comfortable" pace.... and trailers and others.... should be great sight to see 8+ classics single file down the tp..... Leaving that Wednesday so if anyone wants to join the train......... it will just add to the sight....... plenty of time to plan for it.

SVGTO will be assisting the Pittsburgh crew with this event.

I was actually a little disappointed that the 50th wasn't going to be held in Detroit in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the Woodward Dream Cruise -- I think that would have resulted in a huge turnout. I'm sure the PA event will be great though!

Default Hotel Availability

The group rate rooms at the host hotel are almost all reserved! There are additional rooms available at the host hotel at regular rates. We encourage you to stay at the host hotel. It is the only hotel within walking distance of the convention center. There are group rate rooms available at the overflow hotels. See our web site www.greaterpghgto.com for hotel contact information. See you in Pittsburgh!
