Not really, but I put around in my Pontiacs like an 80 year old woman !!! I wanted the shaker height correct and a totally stock look under the hood.

There are air cleaner spacers available to correct the shaker height.

I wonder how well the shaker sets on a Performer RPM intake ? I am considering one for my '76.

A RPM intake is much taller approx 1.250 ,have one on my 78TA and had to use a drop down base. A Torker II is .400 taller so it will also create issues.
The topic has been covered on the forum ,it really depends where your perfromance goals are and what $ a individual is ready to spend.
