Default 65-66 B body dash pad compatability

What models have the same dash as the 66 2+2 catalina?

Wondering if 65's will work. Are they the same?

I'm not sure about non-a/c cars, but my 66 a/c dash pad was not the same as 65.

the front lip is different. 65 is flat 66 is round. On the A/C cars the vent is in the middle for the 65 and on top for the 66. Other than that they are interchangeable.

You can make them work, but they are not the same.

I agree with SteveP. They are interchangeable. Since the Catalina pad only covers half of the top of the dash you should have no problem with fitting a 65 to 66 or vice versa.

If you have an A/C car then you need to use the a/c plenum that goes with that particular year.

Thanks guys!

So, there are no other models in 66 that are the same as the catalina/ventura/2+2.

They are all the same for all models with the difference in appearance listed in previous posts.

When removing there is a screw the protrudes through the firewall by the wiper transmission. It can be a real pita if you do not know about this last nut.
