Default 70 formula roller WIW

I've been on the lookout for a 70 formula for a while. It hasn't been a super active search, just paying attention to what's out there.

My mom had a Coronado gold formula when I was born up until I was about 7 and ever since I've just loved them.

Part of what I want to do is get a decent project car for my son and I to work on, put his grandmas car back together sort of deal.

Anyway, long build up I know.
I found a listing not too far away for a 70 formula, no motor or trans. I'm told the only other thing missing is the headliner. Interior is rough, and it doesn't look to have been a ram air car.
Assuming it's not too rusty, what's the range for 70 formula rollers?
Couple grand?
My problem is my heart is bigger than my brain for these things and wanted to ask knowledgeable more neural observers.
Interested in your thoughts, thank you.

Base it on Frame rails, rockers, floors and bottom of windshield area for starters. Most likely needs quarters and or drop offs.
If not Rotted 3-5K dpending on the not rotted rust that needs repairs. Bottoms of doors.. 1970 has a lot of 1 off parts.

Thank you for the advice. I had a look over the weekend. had 71 fenders and needed floors, trunk . Interior looked decently complete, sans headliner. Couldn't get a good look at the frame rails, but the guy told me the previous owner tried to do work on them. That leads me to believe they had rotted and any "fix" would need to be re-looked at.
I am passing on it, he had tons of parts for it, but a couple things bothered me. I couldn't find the dash VIN plate. It was not visible. I saw the title, it had a Formula VIN, but the body plate did not. The body plate was Firebird. I've read that it was something that could happen, but between needing all new floors and trunk pans, fenders, tail pan, passenger quarter and not having a motor or trans I will just wait for another one to come up. Even if it costs me more.

I'll get one someday, just not today.
