Default 78 Shaker Scoop detail help

Need some help. Can someone show me a picture of the back of an original or correctly restored 1978 Shaker? Mine is off a 40,000 mile original paint starlight black car. It appears to either be White or faded silver at the back of the scoop where the simulated vents are. Need some help on how to properly paint in detail this area. Thank you in advance

My 77 was a flat black. That 78 may have been the same, and faded to what it looks like now. Just a guess on my part...

Normally they had a template applied over the rear which was already a flat black for painting scoop body. The white or silver look is likely the bare fiberglass showing through the thin black that has worn off.
