Smile 1973 GTO/LeMans/GrandAm NOS sheetmetal

Just putting it out there that if anyone has any, sees any, or knows of any NOS sheetmetal that folks want to part with for the 73 Abody, and could be so kind to let me know, I'd appreciate it.

Specifically need

(Driver) rear quarter
(Pass) door skin
(Pass) front fender

I'll be going to Spring Carlisle this year if that entices anyone to part with these long sought after items!!

Thanks!

Mark

Just a bump on this post to remind all those hoarding these '73 parts, that they make great Fathers Day gifts, or Administrative Professionals Day gifts or Arbor Day gifts, or Mothers Day gifts, or Flag Day gifts or.....you get the point!

Thought youd all want to know, I picked up a NOS core support on eBay. One step closer! Wasnt really looking for it, but how could I say no?

Help me ObiWan Kenobi, you're my only hope. These are the parts I'm looking for!

Via the hands of fate, (and eBay) I can now safely revise my list!!!

Only two items to go!

(Driver) rear quarter
(Pass) front fender

These make great stocking stuffers! Have truck - will travel.

I saw that door panel but didn't see this thread until now.

There was/is a guy somewhere in upstate NY that has a whole bunch of NOS sheetmetal he wanted to sell me. Unfortunately it comes with a car too. I didn't need another car so I passed. Perhaps he is on here or someone knows who he is and you can contact him.

Unfortunately every time I get a '73 part, I die with it.

I appreciate the heads up! Hopefully others will see this thread too and let me know.

I hear ya on dying with the parts. Hard to come by for sure. Plus, so few things I own are worth anything on the selling side, I hardly bother trying to offload anything anymore.

I received a few leads in the PA area I'm still working out and supposedly, there are some folks in my neck of the woods (MA) too with a lot of these parts for sale as well. We'll see how it goes, but I'll never turn down any lead.

I should clarify my list, and since my luck is shifting slightly, add to it since Im a glutton for punishment

- (Driver) rear quarter (for a big window car)
- (Pass) front fender (GTO fender preferred - no holes for emblem, but I wont be picky!)
- Rear wheelhouses - both sides (LH/RH) and both halves (more outer than inner, but will buy what you got!)

Now, if I can get all of that in the same room, it will be like winning the Powerball.......without the money.

I would imagine DVAP or Hidden Valley have those parts, but they will not come cheap. The few 73-77 A bodies I've seen and or bought parts from - in the El Paso TX U pulls - no buyers for the parts. A double edged sword with the Colonnade stuff - it's hard to find because little of it has been saved or squirreled away. You might try the third gen A body site: www.g3gm.com. Good luck Dave S. dona Ana NM 88032

Default Life just got better!

Drudging up my old list to make an adjustment!!

I just purchased NOS outer wheel houses for a 73 GTO/LeMans/GrandAm.

The GM part numbers on these were 9830493 and 9830247.

Heading to western MA to pick these up this weekend. And rumor has it a lot of other NOS parts are to be had. Can't wait to see what they got. I'll report back here.

The list is shorter! Just need the following for a complete car to be in my basement.

- (Driver) rear quarter (for a big window car)
- (Pass) front fender (GTO fender preferred - no holes for emblem, but I wont be picky!)

Maybe these guys will have these parts. Will see!

It's a shame you don't read the classifieds here more often last year I sold NoS quarter panels door skins fendors and bumpers on the site to one person. Just sold the trunk lid. Still have bumper fillers and moulding for rear bumper. Have headlamp bezels too

That's how it is with me and Classifieds. I scour ads for years, get frustrated, walk away, and then find them sold. Funny because Ive been looking in the For Sale section here well before I posted this in 2017. I remember first seeing your ad too - it came up as read for some reason (happens all this time with this board) and it was 2 days after you posted. I was pretty upset with myself. Pretty busy time for me at work too, but the bottom line was it just wasn't meant to be. Not sure why, but it wasn't.

What does seem to happen often however, is that most people who go the extra mile to have NOS parts for these cars, usually know others that have NOS parts for these cars. So go shake all the trees of your buddies until a drivers NOS quarter falls out or another passenger fender!

I'll send you a PM on the fillers and the moulding. That would all be for a future project as I've tucked the bumpers on this car and the moulding is decent. But still interested.

I was just thinking about what you are looking for. All this while I was under the impression you were building a '73 GTO or LeMans and that is what parts you were looking for. Then I noticed Grand Am.

I have an NOS front lower valance for a '73 Grand Am. PM me if you're interested.

My bad - you are 100% correct - I'm building a 73 LeMans. I just get carried away when I mention sheet metal as my mind just runs its from the nose back since those are the pieces I'm focused on.

And the list gets shorter still -

Just picked up the NOS drivers side rear quarter for my big window LeMans. And because I never thought I'd find it, I'm feeling extra lucky today. I'm updating the list of parts needed for my eventual rebuild.

- (Pass) front fender (GTO fender preferred - no holes for emblem)
- (Pass) Tail light housing

If you know of anyone, or they know of anyone, or if even they know of anyone, feel free to point any one of them in my direction! Text, email, PM, snail mail, smoke signals, carrier pigeon, Pony Express etc...whatever it takes!

Have truck, will travel.

While Frank sure has some nice parts, on this particular build I'm only looking to use NOS parts. Just need those few pieces mentioned to have all of them, minus a front bumper....which is for sale on eBay if I'm willing to fork over the money.
