Default Engine shop in DFW area

Does anyone know of a reputable engine shop in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex? I need someone who knows older big block Chevy engines (for my 70 C10 pick up).

Also does anyone know if the older BBC engines were free spinning or interference engines? I think I broke a timing chain and Iím fearing I bent valves. Hence the need for engine shop.

I would suggest Kim Barr Racing machine shop in Garland, Texas for Chevrolet engines.
