Remember folks, no political posts allowed in the Lobby. Keep it clean, too - this is not the place for coarse jokes.

$99,000 is the upper limit on joint filers. We’re still above that....

I'm a pretty hardcore conservative.... that means I do well and help other to do well also. Without being forced too

Please sight an example that lead to this post. It seems pretty benign so far..

That "free" $1200 is going to cost a lot more than that when it's all said and done, and there are a bunch of us that are going to pay for most of it while not seeing a dime.

Enjoy your gubment cheese, peeps!

$2400 for me and wifey plus another $1000 for the kids.

I'm buying another "assault rifle" and a ****load of ammo. The leftover money I'll probably save.

I'll spend half my money on gambling alcohol and wild women. The other half I'll probably just waste.

You will still get the check . If you didn’t file they will use your SS form 1099 or 1099R. Don’t quote me on the form numbers, but you will get a check.

Once again, you're looking at the individual limit:

Quote:
However, the payments would start to phase out for individuals with adjusted gross incomes of more than $75,000, and those making more than $99,000 would not qualify at all. The thresholds are doubled for couples.
And those are adjusted gross incomes, not true total incomes.

See my post above, then also look at your 2018 taxes to see what your "adjusted gross income" was for tax purposes.

If your adjusted gross income is less than 150,000, you would get the max - 1,200 each for you and your wife and 500 each for your 2 kids = 3,400.

If you are between 150,000 and 198,000, you will get a prorated amount.

Over 198,000 and you get nothing.

....got our Fed Tax Return check like a month ago.

This Fed viral stay-at-home money: Slicks sound tempting. But may get a Color laser printed to enhance "work-at-home" capability. Food, garden stuff, some wine.

Keefer's Facebook suggested NOS & Slicks

I can tell you one thing ... our house has never been cleaner Since the wife is still working I'm doing some proper military style cleaning on the house. And there is not a loose drawer pull, not a cracked electrical outlet, not a squeaky door in the whole house.

Organized all my shipping supplies, setup a special area for my ebay items so I don't lose them before they sell and of course working on the GTO.

Shame there is still 6" of snow on the ground ... could have gotten a lot of the spring work done outside.
