68 Firebird HO exhaust manifolds. I've read these used manifolds are all cracked, but I don't now that for sure. One of these says "SAMPLE" which I've never seen before. Dated I217. $1100 for the pair.

Hmm.. they're not all cracked. I've got a nice pair of 1967 dated long branch RA manifolds and they aren't cracked. The exhaust valve even moves but the bi-metallic actuation spring is long gone.

Definitely a scam. That was an acquaintance of mines car. I was standing to the left of the car when those pictures were taken in a PA state park. Had to be 4 years ago.

Here's a T/A tribute that looks like it started out as a dream project and then too much money later it's for sale. IMO if you're going to do a nut and bolt restoration, you have to start with a numbers matching uber rare car. This car, while really cool, started out as a plain Jane 73 Firebird. Nr in Pennsylvania at $12.9K. Most cars like this end before the eBay auction ends. IMO this car won't return 20% of what it has in it... it's nice... for a plain Jane 73 Firebird.

I like it too. I wouldn't kick it out of the garage.

I'm really diggin' the spoilers on this car. In my stash bag of toys I have a 72 T/A hood, a 74 GTO Ram Air scoop, a 72 nose and vallance with grills and a set of 73 grills, a rebuilt 400 (68 Catalina 4bbl 400 block) bored .030 with casting #1969 #62 heads and a turbo 400 trans and a set on new in the box 72CC Edelbrock heads, intake and the whole top end in hot rod parts. I used to comb junkyards in the mid 80's and all these parts are mint.

Someday, I'll find the perfect Trans AM to build. It will be a California car and probably a 79-81 with zero rust. I'll keep the 79 tail lights (they look great), but from the front of the car I can make it look like any 70-73 Trans AM. I was leaning towards a brewster green 73, also it has to be a hard top. This car make me think a 71 or 72 Lucy with a white stripe would be cooler.

Are the fender flares on this car off the shelf? If anyone knows I'd appreciate it, because they look trick.

I pinged the guy who is selling this car and he said the flares were made by Hooker in the 70's.

Yep - I had a set of those flares on my 73 camaro. They went all the way around the wheel well opening. The ones on the e-bay ad car are cut on the back side.

I bet Albert can make a killer set of these out of carbon fiber.

68 Firebird 400 4-speed posi convert NOM. Has a clear title, that's a good thing. Pretty much stops there. Rust, but I've seen worse. I think it's worth its current bid. $1525 NR in Ok.

68 Firebird 350 2bbl in CA for $7900. The car sold before and the previous buyer entered a negative review because the title was not in the seller's name. Looks pretty solid.

69 Firebird 350 convert from an estate sale. $5500 BIN OBO in Missouri. No title, but with a BOS you could do a lean which takes a few months.
