1968 SS Nova....396/375hp 4spd.
This thing dropped on my lap this morning.
It hurt so good....
I'm going to look at it this weekend, from what I'm told it needs very little and it's not a rust bucket....everything is orig including the drivetrain.
And yes it's free

I'd be seeking medical attention if a 68 Nova dropped in my lap . But, congrats for being in the right place at the right time and have fun with the new ride.

Update..went out to look at it and, It is a real '69 nova ss 396. All the interior was in it, hole in the drivers floor and it had gauge package console with original 4sp shifter, with tranny hook to a 350 orig buckets that were torn but everything was there. The 350 is missing pushrods rockers(who knows what it is) but front end clip is in great shape with orig hood side slats on the fenders, grill missing the ss badge and it had the 396 side markers. doors were good, quarters look ruff in primer. Problem is No title...the car has been left in the field for 8 years. Anybody have any suggestions on what to do? I'd like to get and bring it back to live. It's still in pretty good shape and the didn't make very many of these. I'm going to call the DMV here in Minnesota and find out how much red tape it woll take. The owner is no where to be found...

try to find a shop owner who you can pay to apply for a "mechanics lien" title, for an abandoned vehicle.. they probably have had to do this before,(you know some people dont have any money...or no insurance or.....whatever.
they can put the title in your name.

costs are about $300.00
$200 for the secratary of state
$100 for the shop owner

Check your State Laws (not sure of your local) for the requirements for a "Salvage Title". I think it varies from State to State.
