Just depends if it picks up the bottom end or not and you need that or to lose a little on the bottom to hook.

If you racing class racing and after every last HP your willing to risk longevity for winning races it's a different ball game. Most of us are bracket racers and on a budget want want it to last a while. In this case no reason to push the limits for a few ponies.

4-5 hp u aren't gonna see anywhere, top or bottom, so no testing at the track with say 35 compared to 38-40? I don't see a car picking up much at all with 3-5 degrees more unless the combo is way off!
