HOPING TO DRIVE IT ON MY BIRTHDAY 11/17/57
GETTING CLOSE.I HAVE THE FUEL PUMP,CARB TO ASSEMBLE FROM CLIFF,SEATS,SOME WIRING ,INNERFENDERS,THATS ABOUT IT.
THE STEREO IS A REAL FOOLER ITLL PLAY AN IPOD ,8 TRACK,MP3 DISC PLAYER IN TRUNK ,IT IS 50 WATTS X 4 + 100 AMP BASS AND 6 SPEAKERS + 2 TWEETER HIDDEN IN THE AC DUCTS ALL FROM A STOCK REWORKED STEREO A MILE OF WIRE

Wow, just found this thread - as a GTO nut I don't usually hang out much in the Grand Prix section but glad I found this thread! Beautiful car and great work on the resto. Your car really brings back some memories for me - I spent a wonderful Saturday night in the back seat of one of these cars that a college buddy was fortunate enough to have. It was 1974, we were a couple of college frat boys out with our dates; Bachman Turner Overdrive was playing on the 8-track and Tennessee had just beat Alabama so Knoxville, TN was really partying that night. My date was hot and the beer was cold and man oh man would I like to go back and do that again! Thanks for triggering some fond memories and good luck witht the resto!

BJ,thanks for the comments,I purchased the car in 1976 my senior year I think I had that BTOD tape also .I met my wife when she was 17 and she is still HOT!

TODAY I REBUILT THE CARB AND INSTALLED IT .IT WAS TRUED UP AND DYED BY CLIFF
ALSO FOUND THIS AIR BASE ON CRAIGSLIST FOR 50 ILL WORK ON IT THIS WEEK
