Default Adding a tach where the clock is

I wanted to add a tach on the column but as i soon found out being my car is a colunm shift it's a b*tch to fit a decent size tach there. Has anyone try to use the one that classic industries sells?

I haven't tried using that tach, but a 72 sprint that I looked at a few weeks ago had the tach option and the tach was located in that location. FWIW.
