Hi I am restoring a 1964 Lemans convertible. I'm having trouble finding a trunk lid. Would a 1965 Lemans/GTO lid bolt on? Also, the windshield. I think I can only use 64 Tempest/Lemans convertible windshields...is this correct or will a hardtop 64 or another year convertible work? I'm guessing these are just 2 more parts that are 1 year only specific to the 64 Lemans/GTO..any help is appreciated. Thanks

Decklid is '64 only. Windshields are the same for all the '64 and '65 cars. Hardtop, post and convertible bodies use the same windshields.

Thanks for the quick reply B-Man. One more question - I should have been more specific about the windshield. I know someone parting out a 1965 4 door Tempest....will that windshield fit my '64 convert?

Just call your local auto glass shop. I bought a new one for my 64 Lemans, not convertible though, had it delivered and installed for around $200 - $225. I live about 20 miles from the auto glass shop.

Never judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes, because by then, you're a mile away, you've got his shoes, and you can say whatever the hell you want to about him.
