The Pontiac GTO is way nicer than the foreign car.

Is that a Ferrari? I've definitely got a soft spot for them, those people love cars.

My first time in Italy years ago, wife and I sitting at an outdoor table for dinner about 10pm on a tiny street lined with cafes. A beautiful Ferrari with a V-12 (from the sound of it) and manual trans inching it's way between the tables almost runs over my big feet. Moments later, out of sight around a corner I hear a barely muffled Ducati with a dry clutch fire up ... told my wife, I love this place. We've been back every year since ... well except this year because of the virus.

To me the Pontiac GTO and Ferrari have a bond that goes back to 1964.

Too bad it wasn't a real 1964 Ferrari GTO parked next to you...

I have to say, I favor that 64 Ferrari to the new one that was next to me. Better lines for sure

Oh yes, no comparison between a new Ferrari (beautiful) and a 64 Ferrari GTO, one of the most beautiful cars ever built.

Excellent photo .... and with a 421 .... the Pontiac might just beat the Ferrari in the quarter.

It never really happen your car is much closer to a Ferrari than the original car ever was.

The Ferrari driver probably wouldn't even be aware of the GTO/Ferrari connection. He's probably wishing that old car wasn't parked so close to his Ferrari.

If you want to see a lot of Ferrari's, then go to London, England. They're freaking everywhere, sometimes three wide and four deep.

Well.... I say the Ferrari is smiling because it got park next to a 64 GTO convertible. I bet that doesn't happen very often.

The thing now about Ferrari's: it's really only cool if you have the current version. To Ferrari guys anyway. If you show up at some posh club or whatever with a 5 to 10 year old Ferrari, then you are a poseur.

A 5 or 10 year old version - yes.

Pull up in a 1964 Ferrari GTO and Ferrari owners will drool...

Here are two that I had to photograph together a few years ago. What a difference in technology and styling!

That looks like the unmistakable side of a testarossa. Bring out sunny and tubs.
