Default Craigslist Epic ad of the week

https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...918251727.html

Something that doesn't show up every day
An Apollo GT. Aka what a Thorndyke Special is.

Is this your Apollo for sale in the ad, or another one?

The price is pretty epic.
For $82,900 I'd expect the restoration to be finished, not just started.

And even if it was finished, I bet that wouldn't fetch more than $50-60 Grand at Barret-Jackson these days. Just based on what I've observed.

I have been after a Carousel Red 1969 400 4-spd HO Firebird since the mid-80s. The car is a true 400HO 4-spd no a/c car with a limited slip rear. It is mostly correct, but it's missing the original block but I have a 69 WQ block I've been saving if I ever get it. The owner lives not too far away from my parent's home.
