Default Looking for feedback on Stefs oil pans

So I was diggin and playing yesterday and came across a few stefs aluminum oil pans and just curious if anyone has actually used one of the on there Pontiac?
One is the nostalgia pan pn 1095
The other is the super series pan pn 1240
The other is the heads up series pan pn 1730

If anyone could post some pics of the sump area also that would be great. Calvin has sent me some pics of the nostalgia pan but I'm also looking at the other 2 pans as an option.

Also anyone that could recommend a place to possibly send a pan to to have the BOP belt drive conversion done on the pan would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

I ran a Stef's pan. Fit was ok, it did take a little work to fit it but not to bad. Cant remember which one I ran but it was the only one with a kickout if I remember right. It worked good until it got smashed, lol.

Default oil pan

St sst
I bought my pan from moroso . They did the belt drive setup when they built the pan . Also needed a little massaging to fit right but otherwise nice pan. Just make sure you tell them what block and whether or not you want to run gaskets . Ask for Jim henson

I run the 1240. Really like it. It's not handy or I would get you a picture of it. If I make it to the other garage soon I'll get you a pic.

They can modify whatever you want. I think they have a Nunzi's design too.

I used one on my 409 project. It took some "massaging" to fit right around the main seal area and some of the bolt holes-and they even had a 409 block there when they built it. BFH and a 2x4 to massage it. Use the wood on the aluminum.

Looks similar the Stef’s oil pan I’m using on my 535. We added additional baffling in the sump area.

We went with a custom Stef's pan on the new build. Looks very nice. Hopefully works just as good.

Stef's also -- but it seems to loose oil pressure in the shut down area -- just be aware of that.

cartel is in the process of building a new pan that should be on the market in a few weeks I will see if I can get some pics. I have one on order now. It is a 2 piece design with o-rings. It is available for BOP belt drive or standard timing cover. You can contact them at 317-645-8786 ask for Joey B.

After doing some good research I bought a "Langer" Moroso custom pan for my dragster a couple years ago. No oil pressure loss while on the brakes..... And as a bracket racer I value my brake peddle as much as the go peddle at times
