So why do they show the 65-66 wood wheel the same. They are not the same unless it was a running change..

Question

I'm unaware that they are not 100% the same ??
'67 was a 1-year change as well as '68 IIRC

The “Custom Sport Wheel” (simulated wood) are the same for 65-66.

The Blue dot in Jeff’s post #2 spells it out.

Here is a 1965 “Custom Sport Wheel” which is identical to Jeff’s ‘66.

Hi Chris. On your 66, does the chrome trim on each of the wheel spokes not have 4 rivets holding it on unlike the 65 wheel with only 3 rivets holding them on? Might be just an old wives tale... I'm a 64 guy, ya know.....

Hello Mr. Ryder,

My ‘66 did not come with a wood wheel.

Red Deluxe wheel in my car.

The 65-66 wood wheel used 3 rivets on each of the three spokes.
Jeff’s 66 wood wheel shows this.

Chris.

Bill,

Here is a 1967 wood wheel. One year only.

All three spokes use 4 rivets on a ‘67.
