Default Since I have been banished

Since I have been kok blocked
From buying from motor pity muscle
And in-line tube. ( like I need anything from em)
I thought I would post here ..,

After years and years of them selling parts
Why …,.
Can’t they revise their ads
Lazy??? Uninformed????
Another of several items they sell
That they could care less about being accurate
On the description

Just wondering

Haha too funny. They supply many shops, go there instead. Half of their ads are inaccurate or incomplete and years of telling them hasn't seen a single one adjusted.

I was banned from Inline for a while because I complained to ebay that they were misusing the term NOS and OEM.

Preach. I bought SS lines and brakes hoses for my '64- all the flares were gouged and the flares would not go into the brakes hoses. The rear hose they sent was also male/female, when it goes between 2 hard lines. Contacted them twice, sent photos RE the rear brake line and they still haven't changed their listing a year later. WTH is this??

When the inline boobs are at a swap, they never bring much. And if they have it, it’s wrong.

What bothers me is some of the stuff I buy from Ames is directly from Inline and or Parts Place. I wish Ames would at least warn us that is where the part is from. I don't shop at those two places for a reason, being their reputation precedes them. I realize that the whole reproduction industriy is interconnected, but at least warn us so we have the opportunity to look elsewhere. I've also bought things from Inline via eBay that I was not satisfied with that they refused to let me return. Not cool at all.

Ames wouldn't tell me which manufacturer they used for some parts I needed. I assumed so that you would not be able to compare prices.

Don't forget you can always dispute things through your credit card company!

As a business I have a great working relationship with Bank of America & even though I have only had to dispute a small amount of things over the 30+ years I have been using their business card, they have always taken care of me when I needed them to!

God Bless
Bill

I had the same issue with inline buying brake & fuel lines, the flared ends were horrible, looked like yours & would have never sealed. I called right away to notify them of the issue and was met with the worst "customer service" Ive ever had from an auto parts company, first they claimed I did that trying to install the lines, I explained this is how they were out of the box & I never even unbent the lines from how they were shipped, after arguing awhile & getting a supervisor who had the same bad attitude they finally agreed to refund my money... but made me pay return shipping!
Bought the lines from right stuff detail and had a great experience, even had one line that was made a little too short, called them up & with no questions asked they sent out a new line.

Few years later I ordered a prop valve for a 2nd gen firebird, needed the early style brake light switch & nobody else had one in stock... inline sent the WRONG PART, was the later year style, called them up & was met with the same unprofessional attitude almost blaming me for ordering the wrong part... had to pay return shipping for their error to get the right one sent out. Will NEVER buy from inline tube or any of their aliases on ebay again.

I used inlines stainless lines and they were perfect, I did buy them years ago and they weren’t that big of a company yet. I think they fold them to ship them, that has to be bad.
The one brother is a Pontiac guy, he has 2 Judges, the other brothers are olds guys. They used to put on a nice open house car show once a year but that stopped. Milt was there at the last one, talked with him about an hour. He had his GTO there in the tent.

I was blocked on e bay from buying from them as well, after spending hundreds if not thousands with them they sent me a pair of exhaust pipe clamps that were all rusty, so they said I did the old switcharoo and the pic of the clamps I sent them was not the clamps they sent me so i gave them a neg feedback and they blocked me.
Pathetic!

Wow, didn’t realize they had gone downhill- over 10 years ago I bought a full stainless steel brake line set for my bird from them and it was perfect. It had the soft shipping bend in the long line but that was a non-issue.
