Good luck you have it covered so take your time it’s a fun project and you will enjoy driving the car when it’s done. This will wake up and change the attitude of your car.
I did the conversion 2 years ago on my 65 it took a weekend to do the swap with the help of 2 friends and included installing boxed lower control arms and a rear sway bar. We started on Friday night after work and I drove the car down the road late Saturday afternoon. I finished up the carpet and console work on Sunday. I purchased everting I needed from a member on the forum except the Z-bar bracket, most of the parts were OEM that were taken off his 65 car and installed on mine with very little adjustment required. |

Do you have the spring that holds the shifter hole cover to the bottom of the console opening? It sets on top of the shifter boot around the shift handle..

Good call. Yes the “one year only” 64 curved cover with spring for the console application. Chris.

Bill,
Any chance you have dimensions for this spring? Same or similar to the one used on inside door handle or..? Thanks!
