That’s exactly what they are. Ram Air I heads. Pontiac used the 670 heads, modified them slightly and restamped them.

Ad states Ram Air 2 heads, which obviously they’re not

If they are bare heads then they are only worth that price to someone who needs those early year casting number as the only difference between those first issue 97 and a 670 casting Are the polished valves and different inner springs.

The mid year RA1 heads had the number back to being cast in and used taller polished valves and the needed taller springs.

Ram Air engines released after May 1967 were updated with heads #97 are #670, with 6 and 0 ground off and 9 stamped ahead of the 7, with longer dual valve springs in deeper spring pockets and swirl polished valves.
The other version was cast #997, wich appeared on the side of the head, just to the right of the center exhaust ports.

Looks they have been converted to BBC studs also. That price is insane. That date looks to be pretty late to be 67?

June 20th of 67 is not late as the product start for 68 would not take place until Aug.

Maybe I’m missing something. Why do you think his price is insane.
I know someone who sold a set of cast 997 and he got a lot more than that for them. All ram air heads are expensive
Is it because they’re grounded off and restamped possibly by the factory.
Even 670 heads are worth a fair bit.
