Default 1970 Trans Am

Looking for a 1970 Trans Am. White on blue. Prefer a non-console, non-A/C, 4-speed. Original drivetrain not that important.

Would actually like to find the one I had to sell back in 2009 after I got hurt (that car got some publicity when new owner swapped in a RA V and tried selling car). I am told car eventually sold (w/o RA V) but I don’t know where car finally wound up or with whom.

I have a friend with a numbers match RAIII/Auto, non A/C, white on blue for sale. If you have any interest in that, I can tell you more about the car and put you in touch with him.

Mister Pontiac
Sorry for being asleep at the wheel. I would be interested in learning more about your friends TA, though I really would like a 4-speed car and couldn’t cut up an all original auto. But maybe drinking a TH400 wouldn’t be the worst.

No worries. Sorry for my delay too on getting back to you about this...

My friend's car is a numbers matching 70 RAIII auto, probably somewhere between number 3 and number 2 condition. It is non-A/C, but it does have a console. The car is located in Colorado.

He has owned it for something like 30 years (IIRC), and has only now decided to sell so he can put his 72 together. If that has any interest to you, PM me and I'll be happy to pass along his name and number. I know he'd like to see it go to a good home.

Hi Are you still looking for a 70 TA? I am considering selling one. It is a white car, blue stripe 4 speed and console, sorry. All the hard to find parts are there, hood, carb JWs, but the JWs are a later build date. 12 bolt coz rear, WS engine. I was told is numbers matching, but have never verified. Previous owner went through under carriage and interior, they are perfect. He said he rebuilt the motor and used forged rods and pistons, but again I have not verified. Message me if interested. Car is located in Florida
