Default updating to throttle cable, how?

Folks,

I put a FiTech throttle body on my stockish rebuilt engine. Could not be happier. I have tried to maintain the stock throttle linkage but drivebility is suffering. I would like to convert to a cable system. Anyone done this? Thoughts?

I don't know a lot about these. They are designed to work with rods. Do you want a full cable system or just up top on the manifold? I would think you could adapt a second bracket used on the unit for a cable backwards on the rear pivot point. You would still have the rod up the firewall but cable from there.

There are lots of systems for street rods that work very well or you could use pedal and cable from a late model car/truck. I did that on my 1955 Chieftain to replace the linkage setup.
