Some of what im working on
Working on a couple things at once. A 462 for my street strip can and my 525 wide port engine. The 462 is 13 to 1 with standard port heads. Solid roller cam with a victor intake. 1050 carb. Adding a plate system. The 525 intake just got finished. Ia2 aluminum block based. It's been kind of stagnant here so just trying to break up the silence.

Oh, I see! I saw the aluminum look and assumed it was the bearing. Then I realized an aluminum block, DUH. So is the bearing then fed through a series of holes in the bearing or an elongated slot such as the FM bearings? Looks like a fancy set-up for sure. No doubt the Pontiac oiling system needs help in this area.

Did you modify the bearings in any way to fit the mod ?
You have some nice looking cars and the rest BTW. |

I dont have any bearing pics. This modification is something I came up with. Jeff Kinsler had some pics on here of what BES does and I changed it into what makes sense to me. 3 direct pressure points where bearing clearance is tightest vs one where there is a 90 deg change.

Try motivation instead of want. I bet you get a sore back sleeping on that rock hard convex mattress.

That's somewhat of a ls main saddle I'm trying. Going to drill 2 holes in the bearing twards the end of the slots. The 525 is set up for spray. Shoukd be around 1100hp on a 300 hit. The car is a 70 camaro s and w mild steel chassis that im making into a 70 trans am. Race weight under 2400. Thanks for the kind compliments.
