67 ATC/Rally Gauges--Temp Switch/Sensor
I need some good forum advice. I have just completed installing ATC AIR into my wagon. It took me more than 2 years salvaging parts from where i could find them. Everything works like a charm. Now ready to hit the road for some local but also POCI events down the road. I have just one conundrum. Since i was at pulling the dash apart I also installed the Rally Gauge cluster with speed reminder. As everyone is aware this was impossible to order from the factory if the order had ATC. I have seen the question asked before in this forum, why? This is because the ATC requires the Temp. Switch while rally gauges requires a Temp. sensor. I want to install both. I would like to keep the Temp switch in its original location on the intake manifold (Pic-green circle) and as there is a flat dimple area on the other side of the Intake (pic-red circle)....would it be possible to drill and thread a new opening for the Temp sensor? As for the wiring, I can make that work but i am not an expert on drilling and threading into a manifold. Your thoughts, difficultly, can it be done, what do i need to do it? A few pics attached.
