I need a water pump for my 400 and was thinking about an electric any body have a clue as to who makes a good electric or high volume mechanical(like edelbrock/light weight)
any help thanks

If you want a good electric one, check out the Meziere's and let them know it is a street car. They make both street and race versions. Their number is 760-746-3273.

I forgot to mention that you have to run a '69 and up front cover to use the Meziere pump.

Jim is right. They make a great pump that moves alot of water. The street pump has a ceramic bearing for lasting wear.

For a mechanical pump, Milodon has an aluminum pump with a cast iron impeller that works really well. You can get one at a great price from Pacific Performance Racing at 310-832-4596
