Default best brush ?

Looking for recommendations on a stiff brush for
The seam sealer. Doing the interior floor along rockets, hump, floor plugs, etc. Ideas? On my own car I would not be picky, but my buddy is, and he's got one of my shells here to compare it too.

I've just used a cheap Home Depot 1" Chip brush and cut it back to get the desired "stiffness & Contour" I'm looking for..

Never even thought of cutting one ! Thanks! Sometimes the obvious is elusive
when you are looking too deep at a problem !

Yep, customizing a brush works out very well although for seam sealer I either use an old school acid brush or my finger.

Ive always used the small acid brushes. Another tip an old timer told me about was to dip the brush in thinner first and it will smooth the sealer out very nice without it sticking to the brush.

remember the chalk jobs at factory went through a low bake oven to flo it into seams . I use a mapp gas torch or a heat gun to flo it . Careful with the torch not to lite the calk off.

From what I have observed working on my 70 . The red oxide was applied (dipped) first then chalk and then body color. Trunk area looks to have Spackle paint last

factory was very generous with the chalk also

Thanks for the reminder! Have caught it on fire in the junk yard a couple times !
Chalk ended up holding moisture between spot welds I have noticed.
