69 Trans AM with AC... 1 of 9. Not sure how cool AC would be on a car like this, but one could argue nothing about it isn't cool. $85K seems reasonable for a full numbers matching drivetrain... I bet it sells.

Yes and this car has made the rounds on eBay before and didn't sell. Seen it personally. Decent project car

It would cost just as much if not more then the sticker price to restore this car properly.

Since I missed April Fools, I thought I'd throw this 77 T/A. Running for a second time at $10K, this PVC backyard Ram Air that only needs "bodywork-paint-weatherstripping-headliner & a bit of tinkering." I look at Craigslist ads all the time and many first gens people think are worth 3X what they're really worth, but this one isn't worth half of the asking price IMO.

Here's an interesting one. In 1967 and 68 you couldn't get an AM/FM stereo with a stereo 8 track from the factory. The dealer could install it, but it required a switch to go from radio to tape. This is the switch on eBay currently sitting at $200. I bought one of these switches for $300 because I thought I needed it, but in 69 you didn't need it. I sold the switch on eBay for more than I paid for it, mainly because it goes to a Camaro and a lot of other GM cars. I'm guessing it sells for over $300.

Here's a 69 400 that's a really nice car, but the price is high at $50K. What's interesting is that it was shipped in Feb of 1970. Also has the option "F/G Tire CR" for $26.33 which my book lists at "white tire (w/341)" which 341 is the standard 6... but $28.44 was for a whitewall tire? What was a "white" tire?

That is a credit, probably didn't want the upgraded fiberglass tires and got the cheapest tire.
The 'white' I would say is for a white line tire? (thin white line around tire) The white on a wide oval tire is for the letters, while red would be red letters. Also on GTO's red line tires.

shipped February 1970??
Umm, weren't "1970+" Firebirds being shipped starting in February? I think most magazines debued the "70+" Firebirds in their February 1970 issue - which would have been available from somewhere around January 1970... IIRC the pre-production ones were built somewhere around December 1969 - since the "70+" were built at the Norwood plant, does that mean there was a brief period where 1969 & 1970 cars were being built at the same time? - because that makes no sense - I would have expected that the late 1969 model year Firebirds would have been built no later than November or December 1969 - then the plant would have shut down for maintenance, and changeover... *scratches head*

Here's a cool one. 1969 Firebird convertible in Warwick blue with a blue top. Little old lady car bone stock with some minor rust issues. It's a no reserve listing.

Nice color combo, as is normally the case the rust is probably more extensive than it may appear.
I've noticed that while Fbird 400's are worth less than equivalent GTO's the situation is reversed when comparing regular 350 firebirds to similar LeMans'.

Another cool one... a 68 Firebird 350HO convert 4-speed car. Sitting at $26K with 7 hours left, this is fair market value, or may be a little low IMO.

I know many areas used to have strict laws about tires, and wheel wells;
i have seen alot of those style flares in the 1970's/1980's issues of Hot Rod's 'Street Freaks'... I'm guessing that car rocked a set of real fatties out back around the time I was born!

I remember back in the day this mod would be considered cool. Hard to reach back that far when these were cool, but they were cool then. It actually dates the car when the restoration/modification started.

This is a cool car. Well worth the $12K reserve. If the PHS docs determine it's a rare car, it's a very solid start.
