Default rally II wheel paint codes

We are looking to spray some 1969 rally II wheels back to the original color. We know the Aluminum color is DDL-8568, and it is currently available.

The Charcoal centers call for DDL-32947 which is no longer a valid PPG number. It crosses to a MBC 3495 (PPG omni line) . Has anyone had any success crossing this color into a PPC Deltron paint code?

We are not looking for rattle can paint.

Thanks,

If you click on the fuzzy Photobucket photos, info is there. Looks like Sherwin Williams paint though.

Are the Rally II wheel colors the same for '67 - '70?

I believe the colors for the rally II wheels remained the same from GM. The main issues are the paint codes became obsolete as the materials that make up the paint changed. While many may have this or that they feel is close, direct crossovers are very difficult when done based on a persons best guess. The silver is still available in PPG Deltron, the center color only available in the PPG Omni line (that I could find). I researched all over the net and most replays were the same old outdated paint codes that have been gone for a very long time. So sure, PPG DDL-32947 is the correct charcoal color, too bad they don't make that anymore. Many resort to rattle cans with colors that seem close, and that is fine for them. I wanted a one time job that would actually be original colors and last, so I had mine sprayed and paid a lot more than it should have cost.

We repainted ours with the PPG Omni center color and the PPG silver, and applied clear.

I have the ppg ( not Omni) paint in my garage. I'll try to get the codes tomorrow. Also have a pint of DuPont (can't remember which color right now) that I had crossed over from the ppg.
