Default Fender stainless trim removal

Any suggestions on how to remove the stainless steal trim pieces (the two screws) on each fender with the fender still on the car? Thanks

It has been several years but I recall doing this (or trying this) with a short screwdriver bit and a wrench.

Protect the chrome below and windshield too just in case .
