Thanks. No rust.. not even a bubble.. been garaged most of its life.

I have a rebuilt 400 sitting in the garage that I bought for a '64 Grand Prix I recently sold. I also have a set of 14x6 rallys that came on my '69 Grand Prix for it.

I looked at the American racing "Sprint" rims they were ok, but just lacked that "I had these in High school" feel about them.

Default 1967 Firebird Project....

Here is my 1967 Firebird, (1976) 400, 4 speed project

I have owned this for about two years now and the goal is to have it road worthy by the end of next summer.

Work completed:

Replaced open rear with Nova SS 10 Bolt Posi Rear
Edelbrock intake
Edelbrock 1806 Carb
Alum. radiator with new hoses
Replaced steering gear box
New Hedman headers
Replaced both frame rails, rockers, trunk plan and rear tail and inner tail panels.
Purchased all the body panels that need replacing, waiting on the call from the body guy to drop off for a full face lift.
Car now runs, but clutch fork needs to be replaced.

After a 5 year journey the motor is finally running.

The car is still a 10 footer and these pictures are quite flattering.

Default 68 HO 350 project near completion

Is this where build threads go? Here's a 68 I picked up a little over a year ago. It now has a CPP stage IV pro touring kit, a 428 tripower, and a tremec tko600 5-speed. Just finishing paint on odds and ends, firing the motor next week and tuning as long as all goes well

I can't seem to download photos easily o this forum. I can only attach one at a time and most of the time they end up loading to my post upside down. Anybody have any suggestions, or is it just because I'm on an iPhone? Thanks!

Here's my 69 tribute car. I've been adding all the little original Trans Am details to make this as close to the real thing as possible. Everything down to functional air extractors. The engine is in the process of being rebuilt and then the Ram Air IV intake will go on.

JMB36TA, looking good. Those blue plug wires should be black, Pontiacs never had a sticker on the air cleaner lid 400-4, fuel line doesn't have any rubber there, and that master cylinder is incorrect. The rest is pretty close.

Thanks Stripes. It's a work in progress. I didn't know about the fuel line or the master cylinder, I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the tip. The air cleaner is going away since I have everything I need for a fully functional Ram Air IV set up. It's not just going to be for looks. I think someone thought the blue wires would go good with the blue stripes...lol That's on my list when the engine goes back in.
