65-70 3.42 posi gears and carrier $450
I am selling a 3.42 posi out of a 66 Bonneville. I have the ring gear bolted to the carrier, the pinion gear and the side shims.
I pulled the gears out of the case and cleaned the grease off this weekend. The car the gears came out of had an interior fire and then sat for about 10 years I am asking $450 plus shipping Carmak craig.cermak@civco.com |

I forgot to explain the light rust on the spider gears the other spots around the carrier. Last fall I pulled the cover and cleaned out the inside of the housing with gas to get pictures a potential buyer. I greased the ring and pinion but didn't think to grease the spiders or the rest of the carrier. I put the housing cover back on but I didn't seal it. Some condensation got in and resulted in the light rust you can see in the pictures.

Is this a 10 bolt or a 12 bolt Chevy or POB?

It's the 65-70 B-body 10 bolt. It is the stock rear end out of a 66 421 Bonneville.
Are there any other part numbers or casting numbers I should get pictures of? |

Actually, it's a 12 bolt rear with a 10 bolt cover. The 65-70 3.42 posi is very hard to find these days. Do yyou still have the housing?
