How much of a PITA is that? My 66 has a very annoying wind whistle that I need to address in the near future...

Not bad since I had the vents out of the door.I believe there are 2 bolts holding it in.

There are 2 screws holding the triangle together and the place where the window pivots it just pulls out.
I will be buying new chrome vent pieces for my vents.

I forgot to get pics tonight of the stand my car sits on.I will get them saturday.

My wife is already calling my car the "other woman"

Looking good. Seeing the vent windows reminds me that I should get to work on mine!

Blue,
restoration is looking good. I also am restoring a 66 GTO. I took tons of pics but all were lost due to laptop crash. Would you be willing to loan or sell your pix . If so let me know.

No rust under the windshield? I thought all of these cars had that.

Blue, I built a wood stand just like that for my 65 convert, which the shell has been sitting on for over 5 years now (yeah, I'll get around to it someday ). Makes it easy to slide around the garage. I always like these progress pics, keeps me motivated! Nice job

Just think Blue, once you get the car off that stand and back on it's wheels, you'll have a head start for the deck you always wanted for the house.

No offense, but that always pisses me off whenever I see pictures of a freshly powdercoated frame...

Cause I know I'll probably never be able to do that to any of my cars...

Keep up the good work (he said rather discontently, knowing he'll probably never do a frame off on any of his cars...)
