Default 66 bonneville lower chrome clip?

What kind of clips are these and are they correct for holding in the lower chrome molding that runs between the fenders under the door? If not, what is correct? All chrome came with the car I bought Uninstaller and this is my only clue.

That is the correct clip.
They hold the stud pretty tight and generally come out of the body before they come off that stud. You’ll probably find some studs missing too. You could try Franks for clips if you’re missing some.

That clip looks remarkably similar to the dash pad clips used for '68 A bodies.

Someone tell me the dimensions of that clip... if it's the same size I swear it's the same as the '68 dash pad clips.
