Default WTB 400cu in engine

Hello, Can anyone recommend a supplier that I can purchase a rebuilt 400 cu. in. engine from for a 1977 Trans Am. I have a good customer who has one with extensive block, crank, and head damage. He would consider a good used engine with low miles if a rebuilt engine is not available. As always, thank you so much in advance for any and all help. John

Cool Make sure...

you don't get stuck with an early block with no provision for later F-Body mounts...just sayin'...

Default 400 Crate

Here's a nice one. He may not wanna spend this much ? Some of the volume builders have some basic cast piston rebuilds cheap, if you just want a stone stock low perf replacement. Some even have warranties. But the shipping both ways would be high, and all you'll get back is the same build that failed before. It may be a crap shoot.
