Default Hood bumper rubber

I bought these for my '65 Bonneville : https://www.opgi.com/gaskets-seals/w...d-jw10002.html

but tried to fit today on the fender side and of course totally different.

Description says 'hood side' but where on the hood?

Those look like the kind that mount in a "keyhole" . Probably on the lip of the hood along the fender edge. Start in the wide opening of the keyhole and slide on into the slot. No keyhole no place to put them.

The oiginal ones on the fender lip are flat and basically look like guides for the hood.

As said, slide into fender slots. A lot of these repop parts look different, but work just as well. Other times they are total junk. And if all else fails, slice and dice to make them work.
