After getting the run around from the local S/W paint dealer I checked with a Dupont dealer that has the camera color match system & he did an excellent job matching the color! Hopefully this info can help some of you other Orbit Orange owners when it comes time to paint!

Here are the paint formulas for Orbit Orange color. Their computer calls this a blendable mix with the camera color match system. This means that you can't just paint a panel such as a fender and expect it to match the door, you would have to blow a little paint on the front edge of door also. The color sample was taken from inside the pass. door jamb (door side) so it wasn't exposed to the elements. The car is a 64,000 mile Oshawa built car.

F2541K Dupont Chromabase BC Mix Size 1 Quart

801J HS White 134.5
846J Yellow Orange 216.7
807J LS Black 258.7
853J Red Orange 268.1
150K B/C Balancer 760.5
175K Binder 915.1

There is a factory mix formula available in the Nason Ful-Base line but not all Dupont dealers mix this line. That formula is listed below.

5210IF Ful-Base B/C Mix Size 1 Quart

430-04 White 178.5
430-26 Pal Yellow 293.4
430-10 Magenta 295.7
435-93 Basecoat Fixe 877.7
