If that's new paint he needs glasses. Yeah it's a Pontiac but... he turned it into a POS. I wouldn't give him 69.99 for it.

Guys like this make me laugh too. And I'm no hater.

That's a bizarre ad. Obviously dusty old original interior, old paint, old tires .. and what's with the "truck springs", "truck cat" .... sway bar front and rear for "tracking"

The ad reads like it was written by someone from a Mad Max movie.

On the serious side, what is that black square under the drivers seat area?

Beat me to it. Its really not a bad starting point, and if the chrome was redone well its not that over priced, but really they will be lucky to get 1/2 the asking price in its present condition.
The floor board rust isn't that bad for a convertible, once the top starts leaking and it sits outside even in a dry climate that's what you get.

I agree that it's not a bad project..the price is 'off-putting' as they say.

Agree. Car is overpriced, but I've seen far worse starting points for mid-50's project convertibles.

4 door hardtops are kinda rare in themselves... add to that the clean original condition, manual column shift and Poncho 6 cylinder..that one IS pretty cool.

Dash looks like it has AC ??

If that car was down the street I would be walking down there with the cash this very moment. I would buy that car in a heart beat and drive it every day.

I'd hope there would be a car attached for that price.
