Wonder how he knows "One of less than 10 left". Anyway, could be a real neat car.

Man that thing is a child abuse victim. Been slapped around a few times. Still a very odd car that is salvageable.

Maybe he drove the 50 states, and counted them all......

That car has been for sale on CL for at least a year. Why would you consider a stick shift 2+2 convert odd?

total production was 1750+ 2+2 units. I had a 4spd convert in the 90s. Most info pointed to about 350 or so converts. At that time the number of those w/4spd was 57. $1750 for 428 seems steep unless it's HO. But one would think they would say it was HO. Numbers matching would be important, so wanting to sell less engine seems to point to NOM.

Yep. Per the ad, it's a 69 vintage 428.

Man I'd drive that thing just like it is.

I know the owner as well. He's a good guy that probably got the "1 of less than 10 left" info from your typical know it all? Or just some wild ass claim one of his Pontiac buddies made? You all have one of those guys around I'm sure?

I recall seeing it discussed here previously. From what I can tell from the pictures it's certainly worth saving.

I think that kit car has been posted here before - it's not bad. Kind of has a 1971-1973 Mustang look to it, with a little Mopar thrown in around the grille and headlights.

I also see some early '70's Javelin in there.

Is this the one?

https://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/...844426518.html

even though its cheap at $2000, its kinda steep considering its "pristine condition" as described in the ad.
