Guys,
This has worked before...

Are you tired of looking at that 64-72" A-Body rear end in the garage?? Don't throw it away for scrap!! I want your FREE or CHEAP rear end with 3.08s or higher!!! Not looking for 4.11s but hey who would look a gift horse in the mouth. I am willing to come and get it with in a 100 or so miles.

Sure I don't know what ratio it is but it has a positrac tag onit and was pulled out 20 or so years ago. rusted pretty good but nothing a blasting could not take care of. What else do you need? Need a nice 68-72 a body frame? I'll be at englishtown with tons of lemans parts or take a ride this weekend with a few bucks in your pocket. 100 bucks for the rear.

Not close, but I've got either a 2.73 or 2.56 that was in a 65 GTO that ran fine that I pulled out about 13 years ago, been inside my shop ever since. No axles, but complete housing otherwise. Free if you want to come to Georgia and get it out of my way.

I have a Chevelle 10 bolt w/ 3.08s in Wayne NJ. complete w/ backing plates, axles, dated 1969. $250.

What condition is this in? Does it need to be rebuilt. Looking for a grab and drop rear.

I pulled it from a running car last week, to put in a 12 bolt. Definitely driveable.

Chevelle rear. I would assume that this is a 8.5" rear end. I believe the 10 bolt Pontiac is a 8.2" rear. I will think about it. I am almost done with my TH350 swap. I will finish the tranny cooler and Torque converter bolts tomorrow. I will probably test drive it Friday or Saturday. I am looking for the rear because I had a ST300 in the car before. I hope that I am happy with the acceleration with the TH350 but I think that 2:73 are still to low. I will make a decision soon, plus Wayne is only 10 miles away.

I have one from a 72 GTO chassis, not sure of the gear ratio. Needs to be cleaned up, I'll get a pic for you when I get home. Shoot me a PM with an offer, not looking for much for it.
