Went good....beat on it for 12 pulls...no valve train issues...or any others......
Power is very respectable but always hoping for more .. I'm happy. 867 & 740..very broad power range.
Not bad for some old chit and limited pockets...
Thank you Mr.Gaydosh...

Just a swinging, diaper install, and the rest had me thinking this was some sort of AARP thread.

...or was it?

69 Grand Prix 3145 lbs..future 9 second project
No pressure, but at that weight with that HP / Torque you should be looking for the 8's

Agree with looking for 8's and just skip over the 9's.

Nice Troy! Can't wait to see it making some good passes. Is the diaper for you or the car? If it's for the car you might need one too!

Yeah.....Jack thinks it will go 8's as well...

Don't know that I will need a diaper but just a change of shorts.

Think it made 835'ish on first pull? Don't have sheets handy.
Our main concern was correcting the past issues.....which were taken care of thanks to Jack Gaydosh.

Yep Darby.....same old IAII block and Tiger heads. Went with a 55mm cam this time & EndroMax solid rollers....

Trust me Hooter.......5.5k on brake and let R eat...I'll change shorts as necessary..

I'll try to shoot a pic of mt DRE diaper before I stick it in car..

Troy: Good numbers on the dyno, I'm jealous. Can't wait to hear how it does at the track.

Should be quite a difference for you Troy... Lighter car plus a few more hp... That 1st shift is going to come up quick.... plus being rusty from downtime... Good luck!
